160 pairs of panties pilfered from Victoria's Secret
A total of $1,770 worth of underwear was stolen from Victoria's Secret, 1499 Post Road, Friday evening, police said.
The store's manager called around 5:45 p.m. to report the theft, after being alerted by a customer that "everything was missing" from store drawers. Reported taken were 160 pairs of panties from six different drawers.
The store manager said she was busy assisting customers when she learned of the theft. She described two possible female suspects between the ages of 13 and 20. One had long red hair, the other dark brown hair and they left the store without making any purchases. One carried a red backpack and was wearing a white shirt, the other suspect was wearing a blue shirt and carrying a green backpack.
