Amelia B. Lebedevitch, 89, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Bridgeport, wife of the late John Lebedevitch, died March 23, 2010.

Born in Dickson City, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Bahdzewicz, she was a Bridgeport resident for many years prior to moving to Florida 34 years ago. Lebedevitch was a retired employee of the Schick Razor Co.

She was predeceased by her son, John E. Lebedevitch, and her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Susan Spear Lebedevitch of Sarasota, Fla.; three grandchildren, Tamara Karwacki and her husband, Kevin, and their children, Lauren and Brendan, Bryan Lebedevitch and his wife, Sarah, and their children, Katelyn and twins, Elise and John Edward, and Jillian Eckert and her husband, Brian, and their twin sons, Alex and Chase; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 29 at St. Pius X Church 834 Brookside Drive, Fairfield. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call Sunday, March 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.
