Arts and crafts draw browsers and buyers
It was a feast for people who like arts and crafts, and Mother Nature, despite a false start, eventually crafted fine weather for it.
More than 60 crafters and artists set up shop on the Town Hall Green last weekend for the 49th annual Fairfield Chamber of Commerce Arts & Crafts Show.
From white tents lining the green, vendors offered a wide variety of goods, from jewelry to Americana to fine art to food.
Gray skies early Saturday turned blue and continued Sunday, helping to attracts browsers and buyers from Fairfield, neighboring towns and even out of state. The chamber puts on the show the weekend after Father's Day each year.
