Author Peter Golden will discuss his new novel, "Comeback Love," at noon Wednesday, April 11, in the Fairfield Library's Rotary Room, 1080 Old Post Road.

Golden, an award-winning journalist, biographer and historian, has written six nonfiction books, including "Quiet Diplomat" and "O Powerful Western Star."

"Comeback Love" is a bittersweet tale of youth, regret, desire and the bonds that mysteriously endure in the face of momentous change., according to a library news release. The love story explores issues of love and moral integrity.

He has interviewed and written about world leaders such as Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, Henry Kissinger and Mikhail Gorbachev, the release states.
