James Dowd, an 18-year-old Flintlock Road resident was issued a misdemeanor summons for disorderly conduct when police received a complaint about a party he was hosting about 10 p.m. Friday.

Police said when they arrived at the home there were about 100 teens inside and outside the house, yelling while others were running through the streets. There were about 50 cars parked on the street, many that would have impeded emergency vehicles.

When police approached the house, they heard teens shout, "The cops are here!" and partygoers began running from the house and through neighbors' yards.

When Dowd answered the door, he allowed police inside to check, but everyone had left. Dowd's parents were not home, according to the report, and his mother was contacted by phone.

Dowd has a Feb. 22 date in Bridgeport Superior Court.
