Police said they are applying for a warrant for Perugini's accomplice who was waiting outside the store in a car, but left when she was stopped by store employees. Perugini allegedly told police that she and her friend had also cased other Home Depots.
After being taken into custody, Perugini tried to call her friend, but he would not answer the phone, according to the report. About two hours later, police were able to contact him and said he admitted to his involvement, according to the report.
