FAIRFIELD — A Bridgeport man was arrested in Fairfield the day after Christmas on charges stemming from a July domestic incident.

Fayez Nazme Shaham, 21, of Bridgeport, was charged Tuesday with failure to appear in relation to a July 31 incident in Fairfield in which he allegedly slashed a family member’s tires after she refused to drive Shaham to work, according to police.

Shaham was charged at the time with second-degree criminal mischief and was released on a promise to appear.

Shaham turned himself in to Fairfield Police just before midnight Dec. 26 and was held on $10,000 bond with a Dec. 27 court date.
