Police are investigating the second armed robbery at a Brooklawn Avenue liquor store in a little over a month.

A lone gunman entered Brooklawn Discount Liquors, 752 Brooklawn Ave., just before closing Saturday night. The suspects was wearing a mask and carried a black handgun, police said.

The man demanded the owner's wallet and cash from the register, according to the report, and then told the owner and a store employee, the only other person in the store, to lie down on the floor.

The owner hit the store's panic button to alert police.

A witness from the restaurant next door said he saw a man running from the liquor store through nearby driveways, then heard a car door shut and a car speed away.
