Westport-based Catamount Wealth Management announced that Fairfield resident Laurie Stefanowicz is a first-time recipient of the Five Star Professional Award.
Each year, Five Star Professional conducts market-specific research to identify service professionals who show a commitment to clients, strong industry credentials and are evaluated on the quality of their practice.
Fairfield resident takes the helm
Fairfield resident Brendan Donohue, NBA senior vice president of team marketing and business operations, has been named managing director of the new NBA 2K e-sports league, a joint venture between the NBA and Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.
NBA teams participating in the inaugural season will be announced soon. The new league will launch in 2018.
Fairfield group in N.Y. project
Southport-based Summit Development is partnering with The Grossman Companies, based in Quincy, Mass., to develop a 120,000-square-foot, $68 million retail development on 19 acres at the former Readers Digest headquarters in Chappaqua, N.Y.
Chappaqua Crossing will be ready for its anchor tenants, Whole Foods and Life Time Fitness, in mid-2018, the companies said.
The development will ultimately consist of retail, medical and office spaces, high-end townhomes, affordable-housing units and various public amenities including a walking trail and performance center.
Family Investors Forum Thursday

Chamber to honor Bankwell and Operation Hope
The Chamber will be naming New Canaan-based Bankwell “Company of the Year” and Fairfield-based Operation Hope “Nonprofit Organization of the Year.”
Tickets, $80 each, are available at 203-255-1011 and should be reserved by June 23 as walk-ins are not allowed and seats are limited.
Building pros honored
The Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County will be awarding two Darien businesses for outstanding achievement in the local home building industry. The awards will be presented at an evening celebration on June 9 at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich.
The HBRA Awards are bestowed to members for excellence in new home construction, land development, remodeling, allied supplies and services, and volunteerism to the organization.
