The Fairfield Public Library Woods Branch will hold two card-making workshops at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, and 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, in the library's downUnder Teen space, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road.

Nicki Shopis, a retired teacher from Fairfield, will show how to make unique cards that save money and fit one's personality by stamping, cutting, designing and embellishing paper during both classes.

Materials will be provided, but space is limited and registration is required. Register at or call 203-256-7308 for information.
