The Friends of Music at Pequot Library will present the final concert of its inaugural 2011-2012 season on Friday, April 20, with a performance by the Sebastian Chamber Players at 8 p.m. in the library's auditorium, 720 Pequot Ave., Southport.

The performance will include works by classical composers Jean-Joseph Mondonville; Johann Stamitz; Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Johann Sebastian Bach's second son; and Johann Christian, Bach's youngest son. There will also be pieces by Carl Stamitz, the eldest son of Johann Stamitz; Michael Haydn, the younger brother of Joseph; and Joseph Haydn.

The Sebastian Chamber Players perform in historically-inspired styles on period instruments, specializing in music of the 18th century, according to a library news release. The group's members have studied at the Historical Performance Program at New York's Juilliard School and as post-graduate fellows in early music at Yale University. Led by violinist Daniel Lee, the ensemble for this program includes strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion.

The concert will be followed by a champagne reception to meet the musicians and celebrate the completion of the friends' first full season of concerts at the library.

Tickets, at $30, are available at the library, or at the door. A discount of $5 is available to annual donors at the Advocate level ($100) and above. For information, visit the library's website or call 203-259-0346.
