FAIRFIELD — Closing time did not come easy at a Post Road bar early Saturday morning and resulted in the arrest of two people, one of whom allegedly waved a knife at bar employee.
Dana Muratori, 42, of Greenlawn Drive, was charged with second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace after he and Ashley Case, 30, refused to leave Grace O’Malley’s when the bar closed at 2 a.m. As bouncers tried to get the couple to leave, the report says, Muratori took out a folding knife and held it toward the bouncer. As the bouncer began to fight to get control of the knife, Case allegedly jumped into the fray. As one bouncer held Muratori against a wall, Muratori threatened to shoot and kill the employees.
Case, who lives on Barrows Street in Stamford, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and released on a promise to appear in state Superior Court in Bridgeport Nov. 20.
Muratori was held on a $1,000 bond and was also given a Nov. 20 court date.
