Clothing theft was no secret
FAIRFIELD — Employees at Victoria’s Secret, 1499 Post Road, called police Tuesday to report the theft of $722 worth of clothing.
The call came around 1:15 p.m., about an hour after the actual incident, according to the police report. Two women entered the Fairfield store around 11:50 a.m. and were seen by employees putting items into their jackets. They were in the store for about 25 minutes, and after they left, employees found some anti-theft devices left behind.
Taken were nine pairs of leggings and seven tops.
