Fairfield Theatre Co. and Bridgeport's Thomas Merton Center will hold a "Rock Out Hunger" concert at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at StageOne, 70 Sanford St. A pre-show cocktail reception will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The event will include a performance by The Subscribers, a nonprofit band that performs for free for "charities working for a better world," according to a release. Proceeds will go to benefit the center, a community soup kitchen and day shelter. They will also go toward its food pantry.

The concert's intermission will include a live auction of a Les Paul model guitar, signed by Les Paul and another guitar signed by members of The Rascals and Vanilla Fudge.

VIP tickets, at $75, include admission to the pre-show cocktail reception from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and a complimentary glass of wine. Tickets for concert admission only are $45.
