The Westport Arts Center will present a concert with Narek Arutyunian, an Armenian-born 21-year-old clarinetist, and pianist Solon Gordon, a recent graduate of Oberlin Conservatory, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at Pequot Library, 720 Pequot Ave.

The recital will feature sonatas for clarinet and piano by Brahms, Poulenc, and Leonard Bernstein, along with the "Sonatina for Klezmer Clarinet and Piano" by contemporary composer Paul Schoenfield, according to a release.

Arutyunian's recital appearances this season include the Morgan Library & Museum in New York, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, the Lied Center of Kansas, as well as soloist with the Longwood Symphony performing Copland's Clarinet Concerto.

Last season, Arutyunian performed as a soloist with the Boston Pops and the Meridian Symphony and appeared in recitals and residencies at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, Music for Youth and the Buffalo Chamber Music Society, the release states.

Arutyunian has performed at the Louvre Auditorium in Paris and at the Palazzo del Principe in Genoa.

He has also appeared as a soloist with the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra in the Czech Republic, and in Russia with the Kaliningrad Philharmonic, the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, and the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra.
