A Shadowood Road woman was charged with disorderly conduct early Saturday after she allegedly punctured holes in the windshield of her husband's car.

Sarah Ann Taylor's husband came to police headquarters around 1 a.m. Saturday to report the incident, which he said was triggered by an argument over alleged infidelity. During the argument, he said, Taylor threw his phone out the bedroom window, and then went downstairs.

The man said he heard noises in the garage, and when he went to investigate, discovered holes in the windshield of his 2014 Lexus that he said Taylor made using a knife sharpener, according to the report.

When officers contacted Taylor, they said she admitted to damaging the windshield.

Taylor was released on a promise to have appeared Monday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
