Cops: House looted during house-sitting stint
UPDATE: According to the state's attorney, the case against Forrest Armitage was dismissed.
Forrest Armitage, 20, of Villa Avenue, turned himself in at Police Department headquarters Thursday on a warrant charging him with second-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny.
Armitage stole about $1,000 from a home where his girlfriend was housesitting over the Thanksgiving holiday, police said. He told police he used the money to buy drugs, according to the report.
He was released on a promise to appear Jan. 17 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
