A Brookmere Drive man faces charges after allegedly kicking and punching the car of a pizza delivery man he claimed had just sold drugs to his son.

The driver said he had made a delivery to a home on Lenox Road around 8 p.m. Sunday when a man, later identified by police as Thomas Golino, 64, began yelling at him from his own car. The delivery man said he kept walking toward his car when Golino got out of his, and began to approach him, still yelling.

The delivery man got into his car and told police that Golino began kicking the door and then punched the window.

Golino told police he was driving on Lenox Road when he witnessed what he believed was a drug transaction between the delivery man and his son.

Police said they could find no indications or evidence of a drug transaction.

Golino was charged with breach of peace and released on a promise to appear Dec. 6 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
