Sisters Aimee Mason, 18, and Samantha Mason, 21, both of 110 Lisbon Drive, were charged with disorderly conduct Thursday night after an argument over a pair of boots turned physical, police said.
Both Masons were seated in the downstairs living room, but when Aimee allegedly attempted to grab Samantha's boots and bring them to her room, Samantha went upstairs to reclaim her footwear, police said.
The sisters became embroiled in a physical altercation that involved hair pulling, fisticuffs and destruction of a $400 hair straightener. The girls' mother was forced to intervene and separate the two.
The officer dispatched to the scene charged each sister with disorderly conduct. The Mason sisters were released on a promise to appear for a Dec. 10 Bridgeport Superior Court date.
