Cops: Toothbrush bandits nabbed after chase into Fairfield
Two New Haven men suspected of swiping toothbrushes valued at more than $600 from a Westport pharmacy were apprehended Saturday in Fairfield after a chase by police in both towns.
Staff at the CVS pharmacy, 397 Post Road East, alerted Westport police that two men had stolen Sonic toothbrushes worth $660.30 about 10 a.m. and then fled in a green Subaru Outback, heading east on the Post Road toward Fairfield.

There, Westport officers, assisted by Fairfield police units, stopped the car at Pequot Avenue and Center Street.
