Cops: Underage man tried to buy booze with fake IDs
An underage Fairfield man was charged shortly before noon last Friday with trying to buy alcohol at Premier Wine & Spirits, 525 Tunxis Hill Road, with fake identification, police said.
Ryan A. Blinderman, 20, who was charged with misrepresentation of age, produced a fake New York driver's license and said he had two false identification cards, which police confiscated, according to the report. He acquired the fake IDs for $150, police said.
He was released on a written promise to appear June 8 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
