Officers were dispatched to Tomlinson Middle School shortly after midnight Tuesday where they found 11 teenagers congregated on the football/soccer field.

The teens fled on foot when officers arrived, leaving behind beer cans, wrappers, vodka bottles, cigarette butts, beach chairs, blankets, cell phones and plastic cups all over the field at the Unquowa Road field, according to the report.

The teens were all located within a short time, police said, and several of them returned to the field to clean up the debris left behind.

The teens were issued infractions for simple trespass and littering.
