An 18-year-old Fairfield University student told police Friday that she was forced to perform oral sex on a male student after a campus party where she believes she was drugged.

The report comes as police say they are closing in on a suspect in the sexual assault early Monday of a Sacred Heart University student in her off-campus residence on Berkeley Road. Her assailant broke into the house in the early morning hours and sexually assaulted her. Police said in the SHU attack the victim did not know her assailant.

In the Fairfield University case, the female student reported the alleged assault to campus security around 2 a.m. Friday. She said the suspect is a fellow student who she met at a party earlier that night. She said she had not been drinking, nor had she taken any drugs, but felt someone at the party may have drugged her. According to the report, her speech was slurred and she was lethargic, and she told officers her arms and legs had a tingling feeling. She was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport for treatment.

The male student she identified to police told officers the two had met at the party and later "hooked up" in his dorm room.

No charges were filed as of Friday, but the incident remains under investigation.
