The 1958 Chevrolet Impala owned by longtime Hart residents J.D. and Freddie Sue Myricks has been a part of the Hart Days Parade for 30 years. It's always been driven by the couple and if they couldn't make it, a family member stepped in.
The Impala and the Myricks taking part in the parade has been a tradition.
This year, the owners will take part in the celebration again, this time in a special role.
The Myricks will serve as co-parade marshals with Jim Black and Rodolfo Sr. and Maria Ponce.
