DOJ laptop stolen from unlocked car in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD — A U.S. Department of Justice laptop has gone missing.
A Rolling Hills Drive resident called police Jan. 19 to report their unlocked car was entered overnight. The work laptop, an HP ProBook, worth $1,900, was missing, and the center console rummaged through.
Also on Jan. 19, a Morehouse Highway resident reported their unlocked car was entered overnight, and $10 in cash was taken from the center console.
