David Davis Lind, 59, of Wilton, formerly of Fairfield, died Aug. 9 at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in West Haven.

Born Oct. 3, 1951, in Rochester, N.Y., he was the son of Mary Alice Lind and the late Charles S. Lind. He graduated from East High School and St. John Fisher College in Rochester, and was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War era, serving in Special Services in Iran.

He was the owner of Keeler's True Value Hardware in Wilton. Previously, he had worked in information technology for many years.

In addition to his mother in Hudson, Ohio, he is survived by two sisters, Jan Champa of Solon, Ohio, and Sue Dorman of Phoenix, Ariz.; three daughters, Tammy Cruppe and Jennifer Lind of Rochester, N.Y., and Olivia Lind of Fairfield; a son, Chase Lind of Fairfield; his children's mother, Meredith Voss Lind of Fairfield, and a granddaughter, Jennifer Cruppe of Rochester, N.Y.

A memorial service will be held in Stonington at a later date.
