The egg-ceptional artistry of Ukrainian egg decoration, known as pysanky, will be explored at a workshop Wednesday at the Pequot Library, 720 Pequot Ave.

The program, designed for youngsters with adults, is set from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Participants will be shown how to decorate eggs with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using the wax-resistant (batik) method. The workshop will be led by Stefania Kowal, a pysanky workshop instructor with more than 20 years experience and Marianne Pysarchyk.

Enrollment is limited to 15 youngsters, and registration is required.

There is a $10 fee; eggs provided.
