Dalma M. Ferreira-Cabrera. 21, of Suburban Avenue, was charged Wednesday with a hit-and-run accident March 20.

The warrant issued to Ferreira-Cabrera charges her with evading responsibility and traveling unreasonably fast.

According to police, Ferreira-Cabrera struck a car that had pulled over on Bronson Road near Hillside Road because of slippery road conditions. She slowed down, according to the report, but did not stop. She was traced via her license plate, and when officers went to the address in Bridgeport, the car involved in the incident was there and had deep scratches and gray paint from the other vehicle, police said. The car also had a parking permit for Housatonic Community College, which enabled police to locate Ferreira-Cabrera at the campus.

She was released on a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear April 27 at state Superior Court in Bridgeport.
