FAIRFIELD — Police seized guns, drugs, cars and cash Wednesday following a monthlong investigation into crack cocaine sales in Fairfield and Bridgeport.

Arrested was the target of that investigation, Gregory White, 40, of Ogden Street in Bridgeport. A search of White’s home by Fairfield detectives and members of Bridgeport’s TNT unit uncovered 65 grams of crack cocaine, 41 folds of heroin, four unregistered handguns, a scale, packaging material and more than $18,000 in cash.

Police also seized two vehicles in connection with the investigation of White, a convicted felon.

White was charged with criminal possession of firearms, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of narcotics with intent to sell withing 1,500 feet of a school, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was held in lieu of $400,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Bridgeport on Aug. 9.
