Duo charged with Fairfield U. campus trespass
Two Trumbull men were charged with first-degree criminal trespass just after midnight Friday morning when they were found on the Fairfield University campus.
Campus security staff had previously warned Nicholas Marble, 19, of Briarcroft Avenue, and Jarad Koenig, 21, Churchill Road, to leave the propery and not return, police said. The pair had parked their car on Round Hill Road and walked through a wooded area apparently to avoid checking in with campus security at the front entrance to the campus.
After being told to leave, security said the pair tried to return , again by walking through the woods. They told police they were returning to get their belongings that had been left in a friend's dorm room.
Both were released on a promise to appear Feb. 14 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
