Eating disorders and body image topic of library talk
A discussion on how to prevent and alleviate a distorted body consciousness in girls and promote healthy habits for body and mind will be led by child psychiatrist Dr. Farnaz Vossoughian at the Fairfield Public Library. The program, part of the Pathways to Parenting series, will take place Thursday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. at the main library, 1080 Old Post Road.
Vossoughian is a licensed child psychiatrist with the Renfrew Center in Greenwich, which specializes in the treatment of eating disorders.
