Environment topic of talk at Fairfield Woods Library
A talk on electric cars and other environmental topics will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, in the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road.
Jim Motavalli will discuss his book, "High Voltage: The Fast Track to Plug in the Auto Industry," which examines the race to dominate the electric cars market and changes transforming the auto industry, according to a release from the library.
Motavalli has written on environmental topics for the New York Times, Mother Nature Network and Plugin Cars.com. He is the author of three other books, including "Forward Drive: The Race to Build `Clean' Cars for the Future." He also writes for E/the Environmental Magazine, hosts a radio program on radio station WPKN-FM in Connecticut and lectures on climate, transportation and population issues.
