Residents in Enfield, East Windsor and South Windsor can expect to see and hear an Eversource helicopter doing work on structures between substations this week, officials said.

South Windsor fire officials said the work started Monday and will continue through Saturday. The project will typically take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., weather permitting.

Officials said the work will take place on existing structures within the transmission corridor that runs from the Enfield substation through East Windsor to the Barbour Hill substation in South Windsor.
