A 17-year-old Fairfield girl who suffers from depression, reported missing by her mother Thursday night, has been found.

Police said that Taylor Rubinstein of Tunxis Hill Road was found early Friday afternoon. It was not immediately disclosed how and where the girl was found.

Rubinstein had left her cell phone behind and her car was found in the downtown business area Thursday evening. Before she was found Friday, she was last seen around 4:45 p.m. and there had been no contact with family or friends since that time, according to police.

When police issued an alert early Friday, asking for help in locating the girl, said Sgt. Suzanne Lussier, a Fairfield police spokeswoman, said Rubinstein is "considered endangered and has a history of depression."
