FAIRFIELD — “Spring Fling,” the annual fundraiser sponsored by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, is planned Thursday.

The event, starting at 6 p.m., will take place at the Fairfield Museum and History Center, 370 Beach Road.

Featured will be foods from a selection of local restaurants, as well as an open wine and beer bar, which will particularly showcase rose wines. Attendees who wear an item of pink clothing can enter their names for a door prize — $100 in Chamber Bucks, redeemable at any chamber member’s place of business.

A silent auction also will be featured with a range of items, including: weekend use of a BMW or Mercedes auto; an off-road driving weekend at the Land Rover Driving School at the Equinox in Vermont; a $200 gift certificate to the Equinox resort, Manchester, Vt.; spa packages; party tent with wine and caterer; pro sports team tickets; restaurant gift cards; personal services such as plastic surgery and vein procedures); theater tickets; hotel stays; fitness classes and more.

Tickets to the Spring Fling cost $65; reservations should be made by May 10. To purchase tickets, visit www.fairfieldctchamber.com or call 203-255-1011.
