Fairfield Cheese to host cookook author

TV personality and New Haven restaurant owner Jason Sobocinski will appear at the Fairfield Cheese Company on Saturday, March 3, to promote his newly released cookbook, "Caseus Fromagerie Bistro Cookbook."
He is scheduled to appear from 1 to 3 p.m. at the 2090 Post Road cheese shop for a book signing and macaroni-and-cheese sampling.
Sobocinski appears on the Cooking Channel program "The Big Cheese," and his New Haven restaurant, Caseus Fromagerie Bistro, features a cheese oriented menu with a French twist, the local cheese shop said.
The cookbook includes recipes, prep advice and back stories about artisanal foods featured at the restaurant, Fairfield Cheese Company said.
