A tuneful St. Patrick's Day tradition struck a chord with fanciers of Irish music Sunday at the Fairfield Public Library.
Sally and Damian Connolly returned to the library's main branch for a second year to perform traditional Irish folk songs before a full house, with many in the audience showing their true colors -- green -- for the spirited occasion.
The Fairfield duo, performing with flute and fiddle, was joined on a few songs by their son, Coleman, playing the electric organ, and Sally's mother, Kathleen McCann Tessler, on guitar.
