A series of programs designed to help teenagers improve their chances for admission to their desired colleges will start Tuesday at the Fairfield Public Library.

The first session is set for 7 p.m. in the main library, corner of Old Post and Post roads. Registration is requested for the free program.

Alice Gorman, who runs the College and Career Center at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, will lead the workshop.

Other programs in the series include: Demystifying the Admissions Process: Finding Your College, March 16; What it Takes to AP, March 24, and Why Choose a Community College, March 29.
