Fairfield Police: Man threatened to kill someone
FAIRFIELD — A Fairfield man was arrested after police said he threatened to kill someone in the parking lot of a CVS Pharmacy.
Fairfield police Lt. Antonio Granata said Scott R. Marsillo, 27, was arrested and charged with first-degree threatening, breach of peace and possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle.
On Nov. 13, Granata said a person called police, saying an individual had just threatened them with a firearm in the CVS Pharmacy parking lot on Grasmere Avenue.
“Officers responded to the area and quickly gathered information on the suspect involved,” he said. “A subsequent investigation revealed that Scott Marsillo, of Fairfield, approached the complainant in a vehicle, pointed what appeared to be a firearm at the complainant and threatened to kill them.”
Granata said Marsillo was located at his home, and was in possession of an airsoft-type pistol, which resembled the firearm described by the complainant.
According to court documents, Marsillo was released after paying 10 percent of a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to enter a plea in the Bridgeport Superior Court on Dec. 11.
