Fairfield Police seek bank robber.

FAIRFIELD — Police are looking for a man they said passed a bank clerk a note demanding cash around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Key Bank, 1731 Post Road.

The suspect, who did not not display a weapon, left out the back door of the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police said the suspect implied in his note that he had a gun and made a gesture as if he had a firearm under his jacket.

The bank clerk called police immediately after the bank robber left. He is described as a black man, wearing dark sunglasses, blue gloves, a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and tan shoes.
