Fairfield U. student charged after dispute with bar's bouncer
An officer patrol around 12:30 a.m. was flagged down by the bouncer who said Maloney hit him twice in the head. He said he had asked her to leave the bar several times because she was throwing things, and when he escorted her out to the sidewalk, she first slapped him and then hit him with a closed fist.
Maloney allegedly continued to argue with the bouncer and wanted to know why she could not go back into the bar, according to the report. The incident was witnessed by another employee, police said.
Maloney was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear May 4 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
