Fairfield University will hold its third annual "Take Back the Night" candlelight vigil and procession to provide visibility and support for safety and sexual assault prevention on Wednesday, March 28.

The walk, in memory of and protest against physical and sexual violence women experience, especially at night, will begin at the school's Barone Campus Center at 7:30 p.m. and end an hour later in the Egan McGrath Commons.

The event will include student performances and conclude with a group discussion about preventative measures against future violence on campus and in the greater community.

Attendees should gather at the center's information booth between 7 and 7:30 p.m.
