The Fairfield Warde High School Drama Club will present the musical "The Sound of Music" at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at the high school, 755 Melville Ave.

The cast includes students Lindsey Reuter as Maria, Connor Frawley as Captain Georg von Trapp, Emily Wood as Mother Abbess, Tim Jones as Max Detweiler, Audriana DeCastro as Elsa Schrader, Zach Roberge as Rolf and Cara Brundage as Liesl.

The play's songs include "Do-Re-Mi," "Edelweiss," "My Favorite Things," "Climb Every Mountain," "Sixteen Going on Seventeen" and the title song, "The Sound of Music."

The show, with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, is directed by Mark Frattaroli, a drama and English teacher at Warde. Bill Hall serves as the music director and conductor. Diane Reuter is the costume coordinator.
