Fairfield Youth Shakespeare will perform "Romeo and Juliet" on Aug. 4-7 in the Memorial Garden of Greenfield Hill Congregational Church, 1045 Old Academy Road.

Performances of Shakespeare's tragic romance will be at 6 p.m. every evening, except Saturday, Aug. 6, when two shows will be staged at 2 and 6:30 p.m.

The show is free and open to the public. Audiences are invited to bring blanket and meals.

The cast, crew and production team are college students and recent high school graduates with experience in performing Shakespeare.

The cast includes: Tara Reuter as Juliet; Ryan Marcone as Romeo; Andrew Pane as Friar Lawrence; Sarah Kosheff as the nurse; Brendan Quinn as Paris; Darrell Hollens as Mercutio; and Andrew Parker as Benvolio. Other players include Nick Salese as Tybalt; Daniel Dalrymple as Lord Capulet; Maureen Cashman as Lady Capulet; Paul Goodman as Lord Montague; Cassidy Tarczali as Lady Montague and the Apothicary; Steve Cartagena as Peter; Colin Fox as Abraham; and Giorgio Fareria as Prince Escalus.
