The town of Fairfield's chief fiscal officer will discuss the town budget at a brown-bag lunch sponsored by the Fairfield League of Women Voters on Thursday,

April 5, at the Fairfield Public Library.

Paul Hiller's presentation is planned for 12:15 p.m. in the Memorial Room of the main library, 1080 Post Road. The event is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lunch. Beverages will be available.

Hiller will discuss the proposed budget, bonded debt, pension plans, employee contracts, mandated expenditures and related fiscal topics. A question-and-answer period will follow, accoridng to a news release.
