The Greenfield Hill Trio -- three teenage musicians -- will perform in Southport on May 22, to benefit a music program for inner-city Bridgeport children.

The piano-and-strings trio will perform at 6 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Southport. Proceeds will benefit Kids Empower by Your Support -- KEYS. The organization provides private and group lessons to children in piano, cello, violin and classical guitar to more than 100 students in five Bridgeport schools.

Members of the trio, organized in 2008, are all Fairfield residents. They include pianist Alex Beyer, cellist Eliza Fath and violinist Amanda Fath.

The concert is open to all, regardless of ability to pay, organizers said, and any amount donated will go to directly to the KEYS program. The performance will include Jeaux d'eau by Maurice Ravel; Islamey by Mily Balakirev; variations on a Rococo Theme by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky; Felix Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor, first movement; and Mendelssohn's C Minor Trio, first and second movements.
