Gray skies this morning provide a prelude to a gloomy weekend in southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.
There is a chance of rain later this morning, while the daytime high temperature will be about 62 degrees, the NWS says.
Rain and fog are likely overnight, as the temperature falls to about 54 degrees. There will be a south wind between 8 and 10 mph.
The fog probably won't clear until about 11 a.m. tomorrow, and there could be periods of rain throughout the day. The high temperature will reach about 65 degrees and the wind will be from the southeast between 9 and 11 mph. Rain and fog are also in the forecast tomorrow night, with a low temperature about 56 degrees.
Monday, the weather service predicts, will bring more of the same: Rain, patches of fog and temperatures in the mid-60s.
