
Fairfield forecast: Another gray day

Today's forecast promises more gray skies -- and possible showers -- in southwestern Connecticut.
The great chance of showers in before 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service, as temperatures later rise to a daytime high in the mid-50s. There will be a northeast wind 9 to 13 mph, with a chance of precipitation about 20 percent, the NWS says.
Tonight will be cloudy, with a low temperature about 50 degrees and a northeast wind 5 to 9 mph.
Tomorrow, there is a slight chance of showers as cloudy conditions prevail. The daytime high is expected to be in the mid-60s, with a chance of precipitation about 20 percent. There remains a slight chance of showers before 9 p.m. as the temperature dips to the mid-40s. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
On Thursday, skies will clear as the temperature rises to a high about 60 degrees. Nighttime should be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the low-40s.
Friday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature about 60 degrees. Nighttime should be mostly clear, with the temperature dipping to a low in the upper-30s.
The outlook for Saturday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures in the upper-50s.
