Fairfield forecast: Partly sunny and warm

It will be a partly sunny day in southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature will be about 80 degrees, the NWS says, with a south wind around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight, there is a slight chance of showers after 10 p.m. while skies turn cloudy and the temperature dips to a low in the low-60s.
Tomorrow, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny, with a high temperature in the low-80s. It will be mostly sunny tomorrow night, with a low temperature in the low-60s.
On Wednesday, skies will be partly sunny as the temperatures reach the low-80s. There is, however, a slight chance of showers. Skies will be partly cloudy at night with a low temperature in the mid-60s.
Thursday should be mostly sunny and temperatures will be in the low-80s. Nighttime skies will be partly cloudy and temperatures in the mid-60s.
The outlook for Friday, the weather service predicts, is mostly sunny and temperatures in the mid-80s.
