Split the difference this weekend: Today is the "sun" day; April showers prevail tomorrow.

The daytime high today in southwestern Connecticut should be nearly 60 degrees under sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service. A north wind will be only 9 mph, then becoming southeast.

Tonight, however, becomes cloudy. And there is a chance of drizzle overnight, probably in the early-morning hours of tomorrow. The nighttime low should be about 44 degrees.

Tomorrow, more light rain is in the forecast and it will be cloudy. The likelihood of rain increases after 5 p.m. and the temperature is expected to crest in the low-50s. There will be a southeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Add thunderstorms to the mix overnight tomorrow. There will be patchy fog after midnight and the low temperature should be about 45 degrees.

On Monday, there is a slight chance of rain and thunderstorms before noon, but temperatures are expected to be the warmest of the season -- in the high-60s.

The threat of rain and thunderstorms continues Monday, and into early Tuesday.
